Kailua Kalikimaka begins ths festivities on Friday, November 25, the day after Thanksgiving, with the lighting of the Christmas tree at Emma’s Square (located across from Hulihee Palace). This tree lighting tradition gets started at 5:15 pm. Plan for a festive selfie spot with Miss Kona Coffee and Miss Aloha Hawaii as the tree lights up and signals the start of the holiday season, welcoming everyone to Historic Kailua Village with a reminder to shop, dine and buy local.
