West Hawai‘i County Band Concert @ Hale Halawai

The West Hawai’i County Band will celebrate the delightful month of March with a presentation of an hour of live band music. And we’re pleased that the band will finally be able to return to its traditional performance space, Hale Halawai, for the first time in 2 years.

Come and enjoy live band music performed by local musicians from all walks of life who live right in your own community. The program will include traditional English brass band music by Percy Grainger; music from the iconic Broadway show “West Side Story;” “Birdland,” a jazz classic; some Hawaiian favorites and of course, a march or two!

The West Hawai’i County Band will be led by guest director Richard Shield. This concert series is brought to you in part by the County of Hawai’i Parks and Recreation Department and the West Hawai’i County Band Friends.
