Big Island Veg Out Fest Postponed to August 30

KONA, Hawaiʻi – Due to the incoming tropical storm the Big Island Veg Out Fest is being postponed to Sunday, August 30, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us then for this vibrant plant-based market which will bring together local food, artisans, wellness practitioners, and live entertainment in the parking lot of Kona Commons Shopping Center.

The community is invited to the Big Island Veg Out Fest, a new plant-based market on Sunday, August 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kona Commons parking lot near Island Naturals Food Store.

This free, family-friendly event features 20 local food vendors serving vegetarian and vegan cuisine, including Lebanese, Thai, Samoan, Mexican, and more. Guests can also enjoy local craft vendors, wellness demonstrations, and live entertainment by Loke and Kai Boy.

Featured vendors include award-winning Chef Jeffrey Byron Werle, Lemon Bliss Ohana, Tabouli Hawaii, Shaka Shrooms, 143 Patisserie, Tings 808, and many more.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to enjoy local food, shopping, music, and community.
